Montelkast & Fexofenadine Hydrochloride Tablets are anti-allergic formulations that are prescribed for treatment of chronic urticaria, allergic rhinitis, and asthma symptoms. They belong to antihistamine class of drugs and are also known to serve as leukotriene receptor antagonist. These tablets show bioavailability of up to 73% with excellent protein binding ability of 99%. They get metabolized in liver with help of CYP2C8 enzyme with elimination half life of up to 14.4 hours. Montelkast & Fexofenadine Hydrochloride Tablets work by blocking H1 receptors resulting in inhibition of histamine responsible for causing allergy.
